Cat Hearth is a world traveller, actor, writer, teacher, and thinker, among other roles. Educated in the School of Hard Knocks, he left home at the age of sixteen to join a hard-hitting work group which went on to set up a number of ecospheric level projects.

At a young age he mastered seafaring, working for a total of 11 years on a world sailing research vessel after helping build it, as Rigger, Mate, Captain, Pilot, and Systems Engineer. He earned a USCG 500 tons vessel Captain’s license. Among other skills, he learned celestial navigation, diesel engine mechanics, scuba diving, welding of aluminum, steel, and stainless steel, cooking on wood and diesel burning stoves on a rolling ship, how to maintain esprit de corps in difficult conditions, and how to schmooze with port officials. Not to mention knots.

He apprenticed with a world class touring theatre and played several major roles in its productions. He gained practical skill in all aspects of theatre: acting, directing, producing, scripting, lighting, costuming, makeup, sets and props, etc.

He has written and performed in several original plays and some adaptations, and also produced 4 short videos.

He has worked as plumber, welder, blacksmith, mechanic, cook, waiter, bartender, janitor, candle-maker, gardener, model, and street performer, besides setting up and running several micro-businesses.

Cat Hearth currently lives with his over 7 billion brothers and sisters on Planet Earth of the Solar System, in the Milky Way Galaxy.
